Dallas Hunter has always been picked on in school. When he comes back after spring break, things are different. A Modern Wangxian Short Story Lan Wangji needs to prove to his best friend Xue Yang that he is gay to stop him from setting him up with his sister A'Qing. He promises to introduce him to his boyfriend who was from a different department but Xue Yang doesn't believe in the Lans don't lie crap and so he asks him to take him to meet this boyfriend right away. Jiang Cheng likes Wen Qing. Wen Qing likes Wei Wuxian. And Wei Wuxian, he likes to remind himself that he would be dog food decades ago if Jiang Cheng's father hadn't rescued him from the streets and given him shelter. So when she demands that he take her to the college dance Wei Wuxian had to pretend to have a girlfriend to get out of the situation but the problem is that she is his only female friend in college. So when he chances upon the prettiest face on campus he walks up to it and places a kiss on it. Only that face belongs to Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji turns to him and blinks. "Ah, here you are," he says and turning to Xue Yang introduces him, "That's my boyfriend," he says. Wei Wuxian's raised brow is met with a cold stare daring him to refute. He smiles widely in response and answers, "I'm Wei Wuxian, from Chemical Engineering," he says. "Xue Yang from Electrical, same as Lan Wangji," he states. The name Lan Wangji makes Wei Wuxian take a second look. Why you ask? Because the Lans own the campus and now Wei Wuxian just kissed the campus Prince. Xue Yang excuses himself, wondering hiw he didn't see that coming. Lan Wangji turns to Wei Wuxian and drags him by the sleeve. "Hey," Wei Wuxian objects. "You approached me," Lan Wangji pointed out. "I needed to turn down a girl for the college dance," Wei Wuxian explained. "Can you dance?" Lan Wangji asked coldly. "Some, yeah. Who can't?" Wei Wuxian exclaimed. Lan Wangji nodded. "Good. Wei Wuxian was a mischievous person. Everyone knew it. Upon going into the Coud Recesses to attend the 3 month lecture, this was something Lan Zhan had learned well, especially since he himself was often the target. Still, Wei Wuxian was definitely talented, if a bit unorthodox. So, when Wei WuXian returns after ab absence of about a month, returning just in time to aid in the wipeout of the Wen Clan using some odd form of cultivation, Lan Zhan realizes something is wrong. The previously outgoing boy has turned inwards on himself. He no longer makes jokes, he smiles when anyone is looking, but the smile drops when nobody is paying attention. He laughs, but Lan Zhan knows they are faked. He flinches away from anyone, and Lan Zhan is sure that he could hear screaming at some point during the night. He is no longer creating mischief and breaking rules, and was often found alone, staring blankly into the distance. The only people who could touch him without him backing away was Wen Ning...and him. Lan Zhan realized this when he had grabbed Wei Wuxian to keep him from storming out of a room, and instead of fighting him off as he did with everyone else, he calmed. Unnerved by the drastic change in personality, and, though unwilling to admit it, worried for the slightly younger boy, Lan Zhan gets his father and brother to convince the Jiang clan to let them take Wei Wuxian back to the Cloud Recesses, under the pretence of having him attend more training, as an official Disciple in a few more months. I actually know how parts work now so I'm just making it easier to read than before. It's still one of the earliest books I've made apart from like all the ones I did when I was 6 or something, so it still sucks but not as badly as some of the OC fanfiction I've written... Benson, a naïve man has a special ability. An ability to turn anything he writes into real life. This normally ends in disaster due to the fact he can only make bad fanfiction for these characters. Shrek especially doesn't like how he was written, and goes on a quest to hunt Benson and make sure that he never writes again.Completa
