The worst feeling is knowing from the start that its never gonna happen. Knowing from the start that he's just too good way out of your league. Feeling so conscious about how you look and what you do and yet you try anyway. You dont give up and maybe you go and talk to him cause you're friends. You have daydreams and imagines and you just wish even though you know that he will never like you back. But the absolute worse is when they tell you directly that they only see you as a friend. And somehow your heart just wont listen.
