Fast forward to seventeen years later in the future there's a new mystery in the town of Riverdale that unwittingly brought Betty and Jughead back to one another in the most unexpected way. This new threat is unlike anything anyone's ever seen before which will put Betty and Jughead's recently acquainted friendship to be tested on all fronts. Along with that a secret from Betty's past comes to light which will either cause Betty and Jughead to become closer or keep them apart forever while navigating turbulent waters.
