Eons. Just how long Estella has longed for a one-way ticket out of her title as monarch in hell. Now if she's a monarch why would she ever want that? Don't believe me? Picture this.

A cold, blue-gray fiery hellscape with eons worth of unworthy souls, some of the world's worst, from Richard Ramirez to Adolf Hitler, to even Lucifer herself, all under Estella's rule. And they all annoy the absolute shit out of her. So for that, she enforces some equally annoying shit. She's a harsh ruler, with just-as-harsh assistance, with punishments going as far as being banished from hell. Which strikes the question: what could possibly be worse than hell? A question that is further explored in her story.

But even in addition to that alone, she harbors all of the universe's nastiest secrets, and she keeps them. For a price. A price so great that if it's not paid, the universe will crack in two. Maybe four if she's really upset. So again, why would she want to give all of that power up?

Through the dark, thick, intoxicatingly terrifying fog she's created around herself, she's still human. Well, a normal person who has human-like desires. She is definitely not human. She longs for love, friends, to know when her reign truly began, and to have a child of her own, not just random recycled children from Earth.

And she'll do anything to get the fantasy she deserves to morph it into a reality.

Anything.
