Damien Roe was a good police detective with a sad past. Had was left at an orphanage as a child and raised by the mother there. He was adopted by a good family and followed in his adopted father's footsteps as a policeman. He thought he had his life figured out. 
However, when a horrible slaughtered happened to Damien Squad at the hands of a demon. Damien Roe fell apart trying to prove that the Demon was real, and many believed him insane. Thus he was banished from the force. 
Now with the help of a Mysterious Demon Book, Damien Roe will step out as  a Private investigator with the belief that demons live among us, and they must be stopped.
