Our favorite star goes where no person in the 20th century, or any modern person for that matter, has gone before... ancient Egypt.

Elvis is working on his film Viva Las Vegas, and he is staying in and shooting at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas, themed after northern Africa. There, he receives a peculiar gift: a beautiful amulet that is said to be straight from a dig in Egypt in the early 1900s. Now, Elvis knows some of ancient Egypt from what he learned in grade school, and he's read theological books that mentioned what the people back then did as far as worship in that area and time, but he's never really delved into the subject of ancient Egypt. He was never a history fanatic. Well, he gets the chance to learn about and experience ancient Egypt by some type of ancient magic, and with the help of a well-known person in history, he COULD get out alive.
