Steve has a crush...on Eddie. It's been lingering in his blood for 5 years now. Ever since they fought in the Upside down together. 5 years of never forgetting those chocholate brown eyes, those sexy sinewy arms or those hands... It's in his system, all the time and he can't quit those thoughts. But they haven't spoken in 5 years, Steve is all alone in Hawkins now. Everyone else has left. So why not go see Robin and Nancy when he's off from work for spring break? There's nothing to lose...or win from it. Dustin put a hand on Steve's shoulder, "Are you okay?" Steve didn't know what to say... He wasn't okay...a guy who he thought he had not one connection to only to have the biggest connection to was dead and he was only now feeling it. And he'd also be only the second person he'd ever tell "I love you" to And he could blame the drugs but he knows it wasn't that... "I-I'm fine Dustin..." it takes him a lot to say it but he does, also adding a smile even though it's painful and it's fake. Dustin stares at him but doesn't ask further, handing him an envelope, "Well okay, this is the letter." "Oh..." "Do you know what it contains?" "I do, not the nitty gritty but a big factor of it I have a bit of a hunch about but if I told you Eddie told me that he'd kill me and I'm not in the mood for a haunting..." Steve rolls his eyes. "Dustin don't be so dramatic..." And Steve's about to open the letter but Dustin puts his hand out, "Actually...Steve..." Steve finds himself stuck in a time loop which leaves him questioning exactly the reason why and who exactly is doing this to him and it just so happens that a raven haired metalhead is his best bet on finding out what's going on. Steve(21) Hasn't had a chance to leave this awful place. He has stayed around for the kids, wanting nothing more to be there for each one's graduation. Confused. Lonely. Depression has really started to hit in the last couple of years after all of the tragic losses to the upsidedown. Nearly losing everything and everyone he's cared for and loved. Most everyone has gotten their chance to escape, Nancy and Jonathan moved to California after graduation. Robin's off at college. Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore. But what will happen to the two friends when Steve realizes the feelings he's thought for so long to just be a platonic friendship have always been a little more? I do not own rights to the ST characters or themes but I do own rights to my own storyline. I will be using pictures from artists that I find as the art for each chapter. She loves him like the brother she's never had. But seeing as something's weird in this small town she's dragged in to events leading to Eddie's death. Emma doesn't know how to deal with life anymore, how do you go on when your best friend in the whole world dies? The one who helps you cope with Eddie's horrible faith, because he's equally heartbroken over it. This takes place during and after the events of Vecna's curse.
