Senior, Whitney Reynolds has never actually gone to high school. Or have a permanent home. Both her parents are high paid (filthy stinkin' rich) lawyers, who travel from place to place to, as her dad says it, to full fill justice. Which means, they were always busy, so they hired a home schooling teacher. But when the family moves to Connecticut it all changes. Her parents decide to work and live there permanently. Which leaves poor socially awkward Whitney to go to high school.
Whitney was the type of girl who just read when she wasn't doing homework. Well, it's not like she had much of a choice. But she liked to read. All kinds of books. She had a liking towards books about 'love is love' and 'anti-bullying' mostly. She was a firm believer of 'love is love no matter what'. Which led to...Whitney honestly didn't know much about 'reality' itself, so when she hits her first day of high school she's in for a surprise.
When Whitney experiences her first day of torture. She decides to take a stand. Making an organization called 'Army Of Us.' That stands up for being different. Which leads to meeting new people.(Some crazier than others) Some of those people include Jay and Mike- who totally aren't a couple, psh- punky blue haired, black eyebrows, tattooed, lip pierced Roxanne, and preppy, english, hottie Dakota Grint- which confuses her because he is the popular, hot, british accented masterpiece of the school.
'Army Of Us' is an emotional rollercoaster. Full of self discovery, humor, sensitivity, romance, tragedies, and around back for more.
