*** A Persephone and Hades Tale ** A spin off from the book, Lucifer's Fall. They lie about me. They tell stories that are softened by feminine beauty and rounded by graceful pleasant words and a calm, appealing disposition. They like to portray me as powerless, subjected to a God much stronger and darker than I. But they forget, I too am a Goddess. The divine feminine is rarely weak, no matter what it is dressed in. If Hades wrote the story of our lives he would cast me in a light that would reveal none of my shadows. He would be blind to them, even though he has felt the acidic bite of my anger many times, enough to draw blood. No, it's time to tell the truth. It's time to share the events that really happened. If I must face the consequences, then so be it. My name is Persephone, and this is my story.

A retelling of the famous story of Hades and Persephone. Hades, the God of the Dead, Lord of the Underworld has everything he could ever want except for one thing. Love. Persephone, the daughter of Demeter, a controlling parent hell bent on keeping her daughter "safe" for all eternity, is constantly under the supervision and iron grip of her mother, and over time, it has created a spark of rebellion that yearns for freedom. Through a series of mistakes, clever planning and permission from Zeus, Hades and Persephone fall in love down in the Underworld. But this doesn't sit well with Demeter who is completely unwilling to except that her adult daughter isn't a baby anymore. And so as Zeus tries to reason with the love struck Hades and the psychotic and increasingly violent Demeter, things get more and more complicated as no one is seemingly ever satisfied with anything.
