Living a peaceful life in Vertwood ended when the new Mayor announced the modification of the schools in Vertwoods reserve; Now the Vertwood-Valdell Schools - In the name of "relieving the middle and High Schools, and Colleges around Vertwood".
When the school - once exclusive to the children living in the reserve - extended its grounds for the "townies", who usually went to schools and colleges in Rune or its vicinity, disarray was bound to happen.
It was excessive - in Koa's eyes.
The 19-year-old didn't understand why she was supposed to leave her school only to join another one in the depths of the forests. Though she had no other choice as everyone - the people of the reserve and the townspeople - agreed upon it. Hence she went; Only to end up learning more about herself and the town she grew up in.
And between all that there was Kaltain.
Who didn't like her - and the townspeople even less.

But this was no ghost, despite the way unicorns glowed beneath the moonlight.
