A society of monsters still has rules that apply to certain monster sub-species. Nagisa Nao knows these rules well, she should, Yuki Onna are cold monsters, with blackened fingers that create ice upon touching something and a general haze of icy frost surrounding them. "Mind your space" is a set of rules that they must live by for the safety of other monsters. Her heart isn't frozen, when she gets her first taste of romance with a Gorgon, she must mind her space, or else she may cause harm to those that she loves.

Following the general plot of Netflix's Wednesday, extra scenes will be inserted to create a bit more of a believable romance between the characters. Xavier Thrope the character is present in the story for the sake of following the plot and general storytelling but is mentioned very minimally.
