Balam, a demon who has roamed the earth for centuries, was on a mission to collect more souls for his master. But, it turned out that his soul itself was missing. He was soulless and was tasked to collect souls to fill the void in his being.
One day, while on a mission, he met Tori, a beautiful girl who was different from the rest. She was pure, innocent, and exuded an aura of goodness that Balam couldn't resist. But, he had a job to do, and he couldn't let anyone get in his way.
He tried to stay away from Tori, but he kept finding himself drawn towards her. He watched her from afar, and slowly, he began to understand the value of having a soul. Tori changed him in ways he never thought were possible.
Balam became a good person, helping people, and protecting them from other demons. His love for Tori grew stronger, but he feared that his dark past would catch up with him. He did not want to drag Tori into his world of darkness.
One night, they fell into each other's embrace, and Balam confessed his love for her. Tori reciprocated, but Balam refused to accept her love. He tried to leave before it was too late, but it was too late.
The next day, when Balam returned to the mortal world, he found that he had been betrayed. His master was angry and had taken control of Tori's soul. Balam tried to save her but was too late.
He lost the love of his life, and with her, he lost his soul. Balam had no reason to live and found himself spiraling back into the darkness from which he came. The shades of darkness took over, and he lost himself once again.
