What if, when Bakugo and Midoriya are older and hero's, one of them doesn't make it back from their mission as they thought they would. 

Bakugo and Midoriya had went out to help a couple other pro hero's. You may know them as Denki Kaminari (Charge Bolt) and Kirishima Eijiro (Red Riot). They were up against a villain who constantly enhanced his quirk the longer it took them to take him down but it wasn't as easy as it sounded. 
Besides this villain, there were others. 
Civilians he'd turned mad and forced them to use their quirks on the four boys. 
They couldn't hurt to civilians. They're innocent. 
But the villain, Madane, wasn't letting up and Dynamite was running out of stamina. 
An unknown blast was mere inches away from shooting Dynamite and, the number one pro hero, Deku, had jumped and pushed him out of the way just in time. Instead of it hitting Bakugo, it hit Midoriya. 
Right in the heart..

Will Deku fall from his number 1 throne, or will someone help him just in time?...
And if he survives how will this villain be defeated?
It all would crumble, and maybe fall into place. But maybe...it would fall into disparity.

[I listened to the song Green by Cavetown and somehow thought up this fanfiction. The song doesn't have anything to do with the story. (Though I guess the meaning and overall what this story is about is similar..)] Desc: Bakugo and Midoriya have a complicated relationship. To best friends, to bully and victim, to rivals and now.. Strangers? Yeah, Strangers is what you'd call them now. After an argument, Bakugo and Midoriya stop talking to each other. Nobody knows why or how it happened. Bakugo stops calling Midoriya, "Deku," and refers to his real name. Midoriya stops calling Bakugo, "Kacchan," and calls him Bakugo. Nobody is brave enough to question it, and it never gets addressed. Eventually, that becomes the norm. Bakugo and Midoriya CAN cooperate in lessons now, so the teachers say nothing. Bakugo and Midoriya don't fight anymore ̶(̶T̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶n̶e̶v̶e̶r̶ ̶t̶a̶l̶k̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶m̶o̶r̶e̶.̶)̶, so nobody says anything. It's all for the better, right? Well, that's what they tell themselves. Disclaimers I do not own nor claim to own either the characters or the world of MHA, the same is said to be true for any and all artwork, I downloaded them from google. I did do some light Photoshop work on the cover but nothing I could really brag about. Warnings ANGST, major character death and pain. This story will hurt to read and even though I am a fan and supporter of happy endings you are just going to have to read to find out how I will manage that. DEKU is going to DIE. You have all been warned. Summary; At the age of 23 the heroes Deku and Dynamight are on a mission together when feelings come out, messy and sloppy, terrible confessions later hurt and angry they turn away because of their inability to communicate with each other. It goes so far that Deku can not even bring himself to call him Kacchan any more, now calling him Bakugo much to the confusion and concern of their friends and coworkers. Everything changes though when as usual Deku doesn't think and moves, his need to save Kacchan, his Kacchan, driving any and all other thoughts from him, he dies in Bakugo's arms. Hours passed but Bakugo can't move from that spot, on his knees he just holds Deku's limp, lifeless body in his arms. Deku's last words repeating themselves over and over in his head. Tear tracks could be seen by anyone who dared to look at the broken hero in his grief. Suddenly time seems to stop, when he looks up he sees rain floating as if frozen in time, a woman shrouded in a green hood stands in front of him, most of her face covered by her hood, he could only see her mouth and chin. "Do we have a deal, Hero?" She asked her voice closer to bells than that of a woman's. "I have a condition, I can't ever see him die again. Give me his injury and let him live," Bakugo's words hung in the air and a clap of thunder rang in air when before there was none, there was now a flash of lightning above them, also frozen in place. "Deal."
