I'm going to be honest with you here. This title is very misleading sometimes.
Serenity is a book filled with poems and stories. Most of them are dark and abstract. Depressing and heart breaking. These are things I write in my free time to pour my emotions towards. I need to store my built up emotions somewhere, right?

The Broken Runt
"I don't care that your a runt. An omega. I love you for who you are and I'm not about to let you go. I just found you and I'm not ready and never will be ready to let you go." He responded, putting his hand on my check and caressing it. I whimpered and tucked my head underneath his hiding the tears that wanted to fall. "My sweet little pup, please don't cry. "You can't tell anyone." His words hit me hard, but I was ready for them. I grimaced slightly, but did my best to hide it as I squeezed my arms in response. "Fine," I said, nodding at him but not wanting to meet his eyes. I was met with silence. "Was there anything else?" I bit off, my tone a little more irritated than I intended it to be. He raised an eyebrow at me, and I felt almost naked as he studied me. His expression wasn't completely cold, but I couldn't figure out what else it held. "I wasn't expecting this," he admitted eventually, as if this were the easiest topic in the world. "I didn't ask for it to happen right now. In fact, the timing is rather terrible. And I'm sorry for that. But no one can know about this, okay? No one." "I said fine," I snapped. "Why don't you just reject me and put me out of my misery? I guarantee I can do it again." He blinked, taken aback by her sudden outburst. "You... already had a mate? And you were rejected? Who is he?" "You don't need to know," I replied, tilting my head to one side as I narrowed my eyes at him. "If you want to keep secrets, then so can I." I wasn't off to a great start with him, but only the Moon Goddess knew that it was only going to get worse from here. . . . The Wind
A collection of poems, short stories and writings. Well, essentially just poems at the moment. Variety of influences I will always be willing to disclose for specific poems. Some are darker than others (see tags for possible triggers). Please comment any thoughts. Well it seems I have poured more of myself into this book of poems than I've really expressed to any one person irl. But the masochist inside me really wants you all to read it because why not share my head with strangers? But maybe this matters. Maybe this shows something- some progression becuase some of the earliest poems are are about, or reference, self harm and I'm glad to say that's behind me. I can follow a lot of my relationship with existentialism throughout it, as well as simply my attitude towards poetry (quatrains of iambic tetrameter with abab rhyme schemes are still cool but they aren't my go-to.) So yeah, maybe writing poetry in a toilet when I'm trying to calm down from a panic attack, or better yet in the midst of having one, and putting it up on some anonymous platform means something. Because I'm still not what else does.Complete
Time Will Tell (sequel to HMM)
THIS IS A SEQUEL TO HE'S MY MATE I feel the cold stones pressed to my back, seeping through the piece of fabric I have on to cover my body, the concrete below just as cold. This room, wherever it is, is kept low, low enough to bring my body temperature down. I haven't been able to access my wolf since I had been drugged when they got me. I don't know who they are, some monsters that have kept me prisoner. I don't even know how long I've been here. I tried counting the days, but when there are no windows, barely any lights, and when you keep getting knocked out by drugs, it makes it impossible to guess. I feel the deep pit of despair coming back to swallow me whole. The mood swings I keep going through, they must be a side effect of whatever it is they're giving me. There's no way out of this, there's no way Alarik will find me, and there's no way I can break free. I give up pulling on the shackles that bind my wrists, the skin there rubbed raw and scabbing from all the times I've tried to pull them loose. Even if I had my wolf strength, they're made of silver. There's no way I'm getting out of them, not unless someone unlocks them with a key. *************** Following Allison's disappearance, Alarik has been on edge. He's seached the entire pack, looked every possible place near their lands and hasn't found a single piece of evidence that leads to her, and what's worse is he can't link to her. Something's shut off the access of her to him, and there are very, very few ways that could happen, and one of them is death. "Do you remember calling me 'mate?'" he asked softly, pushing her wild curls away from her face. She blushed deeply, but he wouldn't let her look away. "You heard that?" He nodded with a smile. "It was the first thought she ever shared with me." Skylar pursed her lips. "She likes you very much." "What about you?" he teased gently. "How do you feel about me?" She set her jaw and once again managed to look down her nose at him while staring up at him. "Well... well, I'm rather fond of you, Orion." He let out a relieved laugh and pulled her into his chest again. "What a relief. I was worried it was just me." He nuzzled her temple, inhaling deeply, his dragon fully at peace. The words "I love you" were right on the tip of his tongue, but he knew it was too soon for that. He would have to hold them in just a little while longer. "I'm fond of you, too," he whispered in her ear. <><><><><><><><> Skylar lived her life in fear. Fear of exposure, fear of herself, and fear of her future. The Alphas Girl
I was almost to the door when I remembered the leather jacket I brought. I turned back to the room and just as I entered the most wonderful smell hit my nose. My wolf started to go crazy and I looked up to see a small pale girl with black hair in a bun and pale blue eyes. All my wolf kept saying was MATE over and over again. The room blurred until all I saw was her. She was cleaning up the table when her head snapped up to my direction. Her eyes widened and she instantly bowed her head down and stepped back from me. "I am sorry Alpha Colton I did not know you were coming back." She said shaking in fear. Just then Alpha Andrew walked in and slapped her. "DONT JUST STAND THERE CLEAN THIS SHIT UP!" My wolf sprang forward and I grabbed Alpha Andrews throwing him across the room. I Knew i was on the verge of shifting but it was pointless in trying to calm my wolf. "YOU DARE LAY YOUR HAND ON MY MATE!" I growled then grabbed his head smashing it into the wall knocking him out and turned to my mate. She looked at me with wide frightened eyes and backed away. I knew that my eyes were glowing red and my canines were out but I was pissed and didn't have a good temper. When she stepped away from me again I let out a growl and she instantly froze. "MINE." Charity Andrews is a werewolf who hasn't shifted yet. She is abused and mistreated by her pack for this reason because they don't think she is anything but a worthless human. That all changes when Alpha Colton comes for a meeting. Alpha Colton is the coldest meanest Alpha that many fear. When he goes to Alpha Andrews pack to settle a rivalry he didn't expect his mate to be the packs punching bag. He has been looking for his mate for a long time and now that she is right in front of him he is pissed at what she has gone through.Complete

"The fuck you are leaving me." His roar cracked through the hall like lightning. Ara didn't blink. She stood there, calm as death, done to her core. No tears. No tremble. Just a weary exhale as she turned her back on him - the one thing he never thought she'd do. Before she could take a step, his hand shot out, gripping her arm like he was holding on to life itself. "Where are you going, Ara!" His command shook the pack. But she wasn't his to command. Not anymore. Ara ripped her arm free with a force that made even his wolf recoil. "Don't. Touch. Me." Her aura slammed into him, cold and merciless. "You think I'll stand here and watch you mate and breed her?" she hissed, every word a dagger. His throat bobbed. "She meant nothing." She laughed - sharp, broken, brutal. "Yeah? That's why you were fucking her in your office? Couldn't even hide the scent of your betrayal." "Ara, it was a mistake-" She stepped closer, eyes blazing. "Your mistakes come in episodes, Alpha. Season one, season two, season three. You don't make mistakes. You make choices." He swallowed hard. "I don't need her. I need you." "Lies," she spat. "Every damn sentence you breathe is a lie. I can't even look at you without feeling sick." He flinched like her words physically hit him. "That female behind you?" she pointed, not bothering to glance. "Perfect for you. Go mark her. Breed her. Hell, fuck her for all I care." Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" One tear escaped - and she crushed it away with her thumb. Then she turned. Walked. Didn't look back. But he didn't chase her. Because he knew. He didn't just lose her. He wrecked her.Complete
words from a broken soul
I don't own the two songs I've posted on the two newest poems but give them a listen if you like. just a collection of free verse/rondel poems(short stories to lengthy ones I guess) I've written over the course of ten months so far some won't be uploaded as I know they would get flagged as to dark of topics so yeah enjoy or don't. Feed back is helpful I didn't really pay attention in my English class during poetry so I don't really know how to punctuate the poems. Also I know the first one is pretty bad but it was the first I've ever written the rest I think are okay but we're our worst critics after all. Also there are some with dark topics such a suicidal ideation, abuse of a child, sexual abuse, and not technically a dark topic but metaphorical suicide which talks about suicide so you have been warned for when I get around to uploading the darker poems.Complete

Alpha Logan
I smelt something calming, like the smell of rain and vanilla and suddenly, a guy came in charging at Gabriel. Gabriel didn't have any time to react as he was knocked to the ground. I stared at them in shock as I backed away, not knowing what to do. " Leave him alone! " I yell at the stranger throwing my hands in the air. This gets the guys attention and I notice the aura around him, telling me he's an Alpha. He starts stalking towards me as Gabriel struggled to get up, " Run Reagan! " I ran into a wall behind me causing me to fall and put my hand on my head in pain. I felt tingles on my arm as a hand was placed on my arm. I noticed it was the stranger as he made me face towards him. He crouched down at eye level as he stared into my ocean blue eyes with his sincere chocolate brown eyes. My eyes widened when he said the word that I've been dying to hear since I was a little girl. " Mate. " Reagan's been dreaming of finding her mate since she learned about them. Her twin brother found his a few weeks ago and Reagan's been dying to find her equal. What happens when she find out her mates the cold hearted Alpha that she's been told cruel stories about.
