With said fame come amenities, such as invitations to social events with other influencers. The reader became friends with, what some would consider the most famous group of males on the app, the New Jersey Boys at one of these social events and has caught the eye of 2 in particular; although I won't spoil who it could possibly be (even though you can probably guess based off the title). And as if being related to one of them wasn't enough, the reader is moving to New Jersey to live with their cousin, Robert. This story is narrated in 1st person and past tense, think of it as if you're telling someone a story from your perspective. One day, years later, on an island in the middle of the sea, Redd scams the island's mayor and she buys a fake painting. She comes to Tom in a fit of anger and he goes to give Redd a piece of his mind. What follows is Redd's most diabolical scheme yet - terrorizing the island with pranks and scams. The more Tom Nook goes to yell at him, the more confused he feels... but what is this feeling? This plummets the both of them into the summer of a lifetime.
