Some say before Kaguya arrived to the world , there was a clan who had remarkable abilities, this clan used nature to manipulate everything around them . From using the natural elements to their disposal to confining confidence in all animal life around them , gaining their favour and getting them to do things . This clan was named " Hayashi " meaning forest .

When chakra was introduced to the world , the Hayashi clan was easily over powered and subjugated. Centuries pass and the Hayashi clan is but a legend , no one even believes that they exist anymore . To Team 7's surprise, they do . Team 7 is giving a task that was disguised as a level D mission but that wasnt the case. When the team arrive to the location of the client , they find out that the Hayashi clan still lives and its last remaining clan member is targeted .

Years later when Sasuke forms team Taka , he seeks this Hayashi clan member to be part of his group , surprisingly romantic feelings start between Karin and this clan member as they inch closer and closer to the great war . Obito and Kaguya seeks this member aswell , as the last remaining "child of the earth" , he has untapped connectivity to the world she wants to exploit.
