Karlie is married to Josh Kushner. She and Taylor Swift hadn't spoken for a few years, after being really, really close for a few years, from 2014-2016 mainly. Now, they both were in relationships. When Taylor speaks up about mistakes and other negative aspects of the current administration, she also makes a jab at the Kushner/Trump family. The family is furious, and wants to denounce Taylor's words, they find the most powerful way to do this is through Karlie's platform.
