Versipellis - Latin | Werewolf(literally: Turn Skin)

It is the sunset of the emperorship of Gaius Iulius Caesar. It is the beginning of turmoil in Ancient Rome. There is distrust in the empire, and the Turnskins are among the masses. A lost chapter of history is resurrected, and the Versipellis roam In the trees.

Cassius Octavianus Decimus is not a roman citizen. at least not anymore. Being homosexual was fine within the Roman Empire, but being a bottom would not allow him to join the Populus Romanus. One day, after killing an important Roman citizen, he must escape to the woods. Fortunately, he will meet someone who will change his life.

Lycaon Horatii Brucetus is not a human. Not totally actually. The Order of the Versipellis rule in the shadows of the city of Romulus and the surrounding countryside. Caesar continues his hidden war against the turnskins. The order turns to the woods around Rome, looking to hide. It seems the city of Rome is no place for wolves.
