15-year-old Maudie has been feeling a bit... strange around Ezra lately. The fact that she stares at him all the time, laughs at everything he says, or how she dresses up more whenever they meet up to hang out. She was quite aware that she had a crush on him. However, Ezra doesn't seem to be sharing the same feelings back. Their love was unrequited.
This story is basically an innocent romantic slice-of-life story that will slowly help with the character development. (Perfect way to let go of my drafted oneshots 👍)

They had a small catch up and talked about their problems and their reasons why they came back. As Maudie and Ezra try to solve their problems. They realized that the other has changed... In a good way. The 4 adults express and act like youths as they go through life and think of what it was like when they were younger. The fact that they still act like immature teens at times really shows that even when their adults, their children at heart. This story is basically about the Inbestigators, as adults, Growing up and dealing with adult problems and feelings. Even past traumas. It is MAINLY a romance fanfic though.
