War of the Gods

Mother Egypt...land of the Pharaohs. Ruled by the hand of these god-kings and watched over themselves by their many deities. It is within these deities that the true battles are won, battles that decide the fate of Mother Egypt herself. Many battles go unnoticed by mortal eyes but for those that are, they have become legends written upon scrolls of papyrus by scribes long dead. Found by the hands of other mortals, thousands of years after the sand took back what glory Mother Egypt once held.

One battle took place in such a time, long ago during the reign of the mighty Pharaoh Ramses the Great. It was a battle that saw Mother Egypt in one of its darkest times, the battle between the forces of the Goddess Bastet and the forces of the God Anubis. These two deities of Egypt once kindred spirits now influence two of the mightiest armies the world would come to know, that of Ramses and his enemy the Hittites.

What will happen to Mother Egypt when these two forces clash in battle, how will the mortal people of her lands fair after all only one leader will walk away victorious. Will Bastet be able to keep Mother Egypt within the hands of its own Pharaoh, or will Anubis rise to let the Hittites take reign...
