Seventeen years old Sam Adams doesn't do well with people. He prefers staying home on the weekends and staying away from parties. He has only one friend- and that's his older sister, who is now off to college, leaving Sam to spend his days at home with his mom and his painting. Until one day, his mother decides to transfer him to an all-boy boarding school, thinking that will force her son to socialize. But Sam didn't tell her that at his old school, he was being bullied. No one is as surprised as Sam that the group of four scary boys wants to include the quiet boy in their club. But the most shocking thing is that the cold, feared boy named Ren starts showing Sam his soft and kind side no one ever got to see.
