The Cursed Silver Knife

Whilst investigating the death of a local nurse, a lovable nurse called Lily Williams uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, silver knife circulating throughout England. As soon as anyone uses the knife, he or she has exactly 90 days left to live.

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day-to-day life, but when photographed, they look upside-down. A marked person feels like a killer cat to touch.

Lily gets hold of the knife, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flashes into her mind: a sunny owl balancing on a damp nurse, an old newspaper headline about a biking accident, a hooded scorpio ranting about arms, and a drinking well located in a hilly place.

When Lily notices her legs have cat-like properties, she discovers that the curse of the silver knife is true and calls in her friend, a psychiatrist called Robin Parker, to help.

Robin examines the knife and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the sunny owl balancing on a damp nurse particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death.

Lily and Robin seek a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded Scorpio. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
