Ash, Titus and May went their separate ways to peruse their goals after the Hoenn League. Then, Ash and Titus got to the Sinnoh Region where Team Rocket comes from no where and blasts Pikachu far away into a forest. That is when Dawn finds Pikachu and accidentally mistaken it as a wild Pokemon. When Dawn returns Pikachu to Ash and Titus, the trio then meets Brock once again and proceeds to journey through Sinnoh to enter the Sinnoh League and Dawn enters a contest to be a Top Coordinator like May.
