May Berkeley gets called in to get rid of a beehive and gets to know the Purcells, specifically Eugene Purcell, a rational and sometimes middle son of a viscount. While the beekeeping business develops, so do the two's feelings as they keep bumping into each other's paths.

A short excerpt:
"Regardless," he added, "I'm glad you took those dreadful, aggravated things away."

"Bees are not angry creatures," May defended.

"My numerous bee stings would beg to differ with your assessment."

She chuckled, "They are protective and will defend themselves, sometimes to the death. The same way you would seem to defend and protect your sister."

"Miss, are you comparing me to bees?"

"I believe I am, my lord. However, I think you are more of an angry creature than they are."

His face heated and in a more hyperbolic setting, steam would have hissed out his ears.
"Excuse me?! You do not get to come into my home and-" He stopped himself. He was proving the infuriating beekeeper right. Even the cat woke up. "Never mind."

[ "can't stop falling for me can you?" ] "So Uhm what's your peculiarly?" Prim asked, breaking the somewhat awkard silence between the two peculiars. "Bees." Hugh sighed "it's not that interesting" letting a bee out of his mouth as he spoke. The small creature landed on prim's finger making her giggle. "Well I think it's beautiful, does this little guy have a name?" "Henry" "So what about you?" Hugh said, the little bee flying back to him "telekinesis." Prim mumbled, it was a touchy subject "woah that's so cool" "not when you can't control it" prim sighed picking some grass and twirling it around her finger, this fact wasn't something she was proud of. She had tried for so long with miss dove to work on her peculiarity but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't. She couldn't do it on will like others, it was like prims peculiarity had a mind of its own and to be completely honest, it scared her. So she just shut it out, she hadn't even shared this much with some people she had known for longer than Hugh, but for some reason she felt comfortable with him, they already had a bond somehow. after that the two children continued their small talk with no more mention of peculiarities as Hugh realised she clearly didn't want to talk about it, bees occasionally flew around them, but primrose didn't mind as suddenly, it wasn't awkard anymore. ***This is my original work, and if anyone decides to steal it and post it anywhere else without specific permission, I will not hesitate to take legal action against you!!!!*** A girl to take home to one's mother with no fear of sharp disapproval. Sure, she was plain and dull, but she was the sort one could settle down with in a few years after the sowing of the wild oats was completed. . .if one could get past how plain and ordinary she was that is. In truth, Lady Lavinia Antrucha was nothing compared to her sister, Cassandra. She had neither beauty nor social notoriety. . .but at least she didn't leave a trail of broken hearts behind her. She's the one people go to when they're in trouble and don't know what to do, the one who is supposed to be the stronger of the two Antrucha girls, the one her parents expect will stay with them for the rest of their lives, because what man would want to marry plain, little Lavinia? The most sought after bachelor in all of Scotland, the life of any given party, that's what they named Laird Ethan Brodi. He was the toast of high society and the man every mother yearned to see on their doorstep, asking to see their fine daughter. He knew there was something more to life than petty women who couldn't see past his fine physique, and he intended to find it; that is, until his father decided he had spent enough time unmarried and forged an alliance with the rich Antruchas by promising him in marriage to the eldest daughter who would certainly match Ethan in good looks and fine tastes. As far as Ethan was concerned, Lady Cassandra Antrucha could take a long walk off a short pier, but his father's word was law, and so to England he must go to meet his future bride. Can he go through with a marriage when his heart yearns for another? #Wattys2016

Still mourning from the untimely death of her mother, and a week before leaving the Nassau county with her best-friend, and with that, everything else she had ever known, Sol find herself wrongfully charged and incarcerated for the murder of a member of her family. Already depressed at the idea of her once-promising future now marred by the bleak confine of a prison cell, she now also has to the deal with the fact that she has just caught the eyes of a man, whose power and reputation for brutality alone precede him. ....... "Little flower" , He said, his fingers gently tilting my head up to look at him. "Yes", I breathlessly exhaled "If you ever speak to me like that again, I will rip your fucking throat out.", He continued with a terrifying smile. ...... - And because his ancestors were never picky about their business endeavours, partly due to their direct ties to royalty, and due to their connections to upper-class members of the justice system in Europe and eventually in North America and Asia, the man's family had been direct benefactors of both world wars due to their involvement in the weapon industry, and as suppliers of the adrenaline-pumping drug both the Germans and the French/Americans were injecting in their soldiers before sending them to battle. It's safe to say the man's power knew no bound or restrain. Power that carried through with every single one of the man's actions. Indeed, The man never yelled and never raised his voice, he never had to. The man was curt in his speech. His deep, raspy, baritone voice almost always resonated through with the same monotonous tone. Unless it was to handle his bi-daily entertainments, which were often eccentric in genre and deriving from eclectic sources. It was only then, you'd see the man's eyes twinkle with amusement, frequently at the expense of others. - ______ WARNING [Contains mature, potentially triggering content]

(18+ EXPLICIT CONTENT) "Attract a lot of attention, huh beautiful?" His voice hit me like a wall, absurdly catching me off guard. It was deep, sensual, something any girl (or boy) could melt over. I was sort of speechless, yet trying my best to appear unafflicted. "Only the wrong ones." That was definitely drunken me talking, as I didn't usually have that much confidence. His lips twitched up into a smirk, expressing that he understood my comment. "Does that mean that I'm in that category?" My palms began to grow sweaty and my heart rate picked up, but otherwise my body remained relaxed, appearing completely fine. It similar to when you're on autopilot, completely withdrawn due to intoxication. "I suppose not," I crossed my arms, putting on this seductive persona just for him. This fueled his smirk, about to murmur another comment before I cut him off. "You'll have to show me, though." *** Amelia Hollis was a 23-year-old writer at one of the local publishing companies, assisting a very handsome man and writing articles left and right. Her and her best friend, Aviary, lived together in a cute little apartment off the central part of the city, yearning to create new memories and important moments. Amelia always lived for the moments, taking in every little detail and savoring it like it was her favorite meal. She was an optimist, hoping to change peoples lives with her dreams. James Vallette was a 34-year-old CEO, building his company from dirt with the help of his brother. He was a realist, not really having time to deal with dreams or even love. He knew this the night he laid eyes on Amelia. It was only casual; what harm could a one-night stand do? Oh yeah, he's her dad's boss.
