Gods live an eternity, much too long, and thus are driven to boredom. Bored gods meddle. When they treat lives like toys, only suffering follows. Men prop idols to represent them on ornate pedestals to use their names for their selfish desires. After experiencing all the world has to offer, supernatural beings become restless. They play devious tricks for their perverse entertainment. The boundaries of science can only be pushed so far before we find ourselves on the edge of a bottomless cliff. There is knowledge not suited for the human mind, the proverbial apple, the unmaking for those with reckless curiosity. What does isolation do to the mind? Is there truly selfless self-sacrifice? What would God think upon examining His creation? Who knows... let us try to find out together.
