Following a sting operation gone awry, she lands between the last two beings anyone would expect to be bonded: A Fire and Water Elemental. If Damascus is pure sadism, then Berlin is a walking fertility god. Both have her body and Element spiraling with intense desire, yet only one can kill her with a single kiss. The more she learns from them, the further from answers she gets. And being trapped in the desert surrounded by enemies bent on destroying her doesn't help. They're running out of time and places to hide-and soon, they'll have to face inevitable truths that could rip them apart forever.
