When Pontsho's son disappears, history slowly begins to rewrite itself. The mermaids that had been cast out of Noka Ya Ramasedi ages ago emerge from the fiery pit and like her great, great father Moruti Tau, Pontsho is faced with the terrible obstacles of saving her son and the rest of the village.
