A body can heal in a matter of days, weeks, months, a heart in a matter of years, but a mind broken, is a mind stranded in time, for what lingers is not a tangible emotion, or a singular issue, but a multitude that fills it like a torential ocean and what comes out is the emotions. A flood so deep, so forceful, that even the world around it could shatter. The mind is deeper and more turbulent than many will ever believe... It can't be dammed up, it can't be tamed... Once those walls break, it will flood like torential rains.
