The Chamber of Secrets was opened but Tom made a mistake when he tried to kill Harry. He touched his skin after hearing his young nemesis speak in Parseltongue. Suddenly things are a lot more complicated for everyone involved and Snape dreads what is to come. At least he isn't caught between vows anymore... right?
