A slowburn fanfic, (like REALLY slow) to where two individuals, whom has always been confused with love, find themselves falling for each other. But the twist here is that one of their lives, is threatened to be taken away if failed to confess in due time. Will Zak survive this disease? Or shall he die with the heavy burden still in his heart?
A usually loud, optimistic boy for one moment, a coughing, bloody mess, the next. The usual, Hanahaki disease. In which a person bearing an unrequited love coughs up flower petals until they die, or their feelings are reciprocated.

It's not very painful at first, but the flowers get bigger and more frequently coughed up over a span of 2 years. If you haven't found and kissed your soulmate by the time you turn 18, you die of the "disease." The flowers are your soulmate's favourite color(s). Their gender is shown by what kind of flower it is: buttercups for female, roses for male, and oleanders for any others. Surprisingly, Wen Junhui of Seventeen is rumoured to be diagnosed with the disease and not so surprisingly, the rumours are true. Junhui does indeed cough up the blue primrose petals from time to time, Joshua's favourite kind. They suddenly stop by the time he had started coughing up the individual petals of 3-4 Primroses.
