I'm taking the time to carefully review and refine my book, making improvements and correcting any issues so that the current version is the best it can be while also writing a new book.

I turn around to move on to the next painting, but I freeze in position. I look up at Jake, who is too close for my liking.

"I would shake your hand, but I'm not allowed to touch the masterpieces." Jake says as he smirks, then winks at me.

I move away from him, leaving a fair amount of space between us. "Whoever told you that those pick-up lines work lied to you. I'm sorry I had to be the one to tell you this horrifying news." I fake cry.
