"The Wish of the Universe" is a short story set in Mitaka, Japan. Samantha finally visits the place of her dreams but little does she know that there's a magical experience waiting for her! This story follows Samantha as she discovers herself, the love of her life and embraces the enchanting surroundings as well as the magic of the universe. 

This story beautifully captures the beauty of wishes, the joy of unexpected encounters, and the transformative nature of following one's heart.

But none of that matters after the wormholes she discovers. Nobody has tried to stop these things. They appear, but haven't really caused any damage except to the new girl and the stability of the grove. Miami isn't willing to lose another home, setting out into the city to search for answers with Vinnie by her side. They learn about the city and each other, but can someone of that nature really intertwine into Miami's livelihood? Gossip and reminisce can only do so much for a woman. A lesson for her: books and science will only give her outlines in her plans, rather than reasons.
