This story takes place in the years 1984-1988.

After leaving behind Aberdeen, along her beloved friends Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic, Lia finds herself knocking on San Francisco's door. But what the young guitar player didn't expect was that she would find herself at the heart of Rock n Roll history.

She stumbles upon the vocalist of a local band called Metallica, becoming an integral part of the band, carving her way into the hearts of the members, especially the charming and gifted lead guitarist, Kirk Hammett.

But that's not the end of Lia's story. When she finds herself kindling the old flame of her beloved friends, she ends up wrapped up in her own band, Nirvana.

Will Kirk's and Lia's love be strong enough, or will fame take the reigns?
