Lotte wishes for death like one wishes for candy. After centuries of existence, and the deaths of millions at her hands, she's not sure what's left to serving the "greater good." If there ever was one to begin with. Amongst the few things that have kept her searching, nothing has kept her attention quite like the stars. Whispers of light that skim across galaxies or flaming fingers prying out the cores of planets. She can see herself in them. Pieces of who she was, what she used to be, and what she's become. Now, tasked with preparing the cosmos for a new age, Lotte can't help but wonder if there is truly more out there than just living, breathing and dying. And with inter-dimensional warfare, a mid-millennium identity crisis, and a spunky group of teenagers banging her door down, she has to figure out if it has worth to her at all. Or if she would have been better off burning away all those centuries ago.
