"Curiosity is a virtue." That is the first lie they tell you in the police department. For Detective Evan Carter, curiosity wasn't a mistake, it was a responsibility.
As a specialist in cases of missing persons, Evan believed every disappearance had a logical explanation: patterns, motives, or simple human error. But the logic shattered when he encountered the cases of Lily Rose, Emma Barlow and two more adults, all of them had vanished without a trace: no footprints, no witnesses, and no signs of struggle.
Against every official protocol, Evan followed a trail that led him into Emma's empty apartment and onto her laptop. There, he found a folder named "Lennys_Adventures" and inside he found a single, haunting file: LR.exe.
What starts as an innocent, 2D, gacha RPG game quickly dissolves into a digital nightmare. The sprites bleed, the characters scream, and an entity who calls it self as Lord LR reaches out from the static to speak Evan's name.
They say Evan Carter lost his mind. They say he contaminated the crime scene. But Evan knows the truth that the department refuses to acknowledge: he didn't just investigate the case. He played it and now, the truth is playing him back.
