I slowly open my eyes looking around the far too familiar room. I know exactly where I am, and I am not happy to be here. Slowly, I start to walk towards the only door in this dark, cold room. As I'm walking to the door, the floor beneath me starts to shake, which makes me lose my balance.
"What is going on here?" I ask myself. I feel terrified.
When I hit the floor with a loud thud, I felt something sticky. I am soaked in this weird substance, and that's when I realized they are coming. Five large Flesh Eaters came barging through the door. I could see the blood dripping from their large pointy fangs, and it smelled like something just died in here or maybe I should say someone. The Flesh Eaters started crawling towards me. Their sharp claws were tapping against the floor with every step they take. They start to circle around me, watching me, growling at me.

We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. "CHARLIE!" His screams were getting closer until I saw him completely. I grabbed the knife and pointed it straight at him. "Get away from me!" The knife flew across the hallway and he was on top of me. "Thomas please let me go. I don't want to be here. Please." I say begging "You're ruining everything. It was so perfect and special just for you and you're ruining it." I can tell he was sad but more pissed off this anything. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?! He pulled me from the ground and tried to make me breathe in. I fought the urge to. I thrashed back and forth trying to get free but nothing worked. As a child you always fear the monster under your bed or in your closet. Maybe you watched a scary movie or were told a horror story to make you believe something was under there. You jump onto your bed and jerk your limbs away from the edge or always shut your closet door. Then you hide under the covers in hopes that they don't get to you. As you grow older you realize the invisible monster under your bed is just that, invisible. Its not that they don't exist, it's just that you don't see them. You write off the bumps in the night as the wind or shifting floorboards but they're lies. Little white lies you tell yourself so you can sleep at night. Well I'm here to tell you that whatever is causing those bumps is very real. In my case, the source doesn't hide in my closet but rather under my bed. And he's determined to drag me right there with him. Can you be friends with the monster under your bed? ** "Ask me Aria," he rasped. His voice dripped with temptation that would make the devil jealous. His lips were brushing against mine as we leaned into each other. I felt like I was drowning in his presence. I was just laying down on my bed, cuddled up with a book, when I heard a faint creak on the stairs. The sound was muffled seeing as the door was shut, but I heard it nevertheless. My eyes wandered to the door and I tried to be as silent as possible in my attempt to locate another sound. My body was tense, but relaxed when I didn't hear another noise. It's probably just my imagination, I thought. My paranoia was probably just getting the best of me since I was home alone. I heard the stairs creak again however and I heard... Footsteps. I put my book down slowly and got off my bed as quietly as I could. Yes, those were definitely footsteps. I opened my door slowly, trying to be as silent as possible.
