It's been two years since the tragic murders in Woodsboro, California. Survivor Eliza Grace Jamison has since moved away from the town that caused her great pain and is now staying in an apartment with her boyfriend, fellow survivor John, and attending Windsor College with him and their friends Sidney and Randy. Things seem to be looking up for the group, until a couple, who were seniors in Windsor College, are killed while attending the premiere of the movie about their lives. Eliza Grace finds herself reliving a traumatic event, and has to fight for survival once again, all while trying to protect the people she cares about. Can she do it this time around? Or will she end up six feet underground?
