Amelia Moreno's life has never been easy, she's been to forty-nine different schools in the past 17 years of her life, following her father's job. She's never felt like she belonged anywhere and expects nothing from a small town in the suburbs of Los Angeles.

Everyone in LA knows who Elian Graves is - once the star soccer player who was now known for almost killing a student with his bare hands in the school hallways. Graves only cares for one thing and that is keeping his little sister alive. He has been under the LAPD's radar for illegal street racing for as long as he's been behind the wheel. All he's ever known is to either kill or be killed.

Moreno's hyper-fixation on photography got her in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and with the wrong person. All she can think about is who is Elian Graves. Why was he standing in the shadows at the site of her father's crime scene? And could he be the key to finding out who killed her mother?
