After learning of an urban legend in which a manic serial killer named Smiley can be summoned through the internet, mentally fragile Ashley runs away as Smiley tries to hunt her down and make her his next victim.
This story is based on the film 'Smiley'. I wrote this for school and thought I should upload it.

If an individual is talking with their family, friends, or just a random stranger, and say "I did it for the lulz" three times as a joke, The Smiley Face Killer will show up behind their chat partner/family member/friend, and murder them. The Smiley Face Killer could be relatively anyone, and cannot be killed, hinting at several sequels to this newer franchise. One girl by the name of "Carley Walker" stumbles across this legend, and says "I did it for the lulz" three times as just a joke. But she realizes her friend on the other side of the chat room isn't responding, and she begins to drive over to his house, and sees him dead.
