On hold because I can't seem to write more than two things at once...Sorry everyone :/

“Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go, but rather learning to start over.”

Draco Malfoy has changed. He changed after the war, after he met Astoria Greengrass and she introduced him to a little feeling that Draco was never sure was love-even if it was arranged. The biggest change was when Astoria gave him his son, Scorpius. But only a few months after young Scorpius’ second birthday, Astoria dies from a foreign disease. Unable to cope and take care of his son on his own, Draco puts out an add for a nanny-little does he know he’s getting much more than a nanny for his son, but a healer for his family.
Eleanor Rubis doesn’t have much of a past except for her résumé. She shows up on Draco Malfoy’s doorstep, tells him he doesn’t need to know more than that she can help and pretty much gives herself the job. And for the first time in his life, Draco goes on a whim and lets Eleanor walk right into his life-and possibly into his heart.

"The other night dear, as I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms
But when I awoke, dear, I was mistaken
So I hung my head and I cried.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

I'll always love you and make you happy,
If you will only say the same.
But if you leave me and love another,
You'll regret it all some day"

"Are you scared of what he'll say?" His hot breath was vexing, in both agony and tone. My eyes narrowed as his assumptions that I cared enough. "Aren't you scared of what I'll do?" My eyes casted down to the wand he didn't see slide up. It was pointed at the firm hand on my throat. "You've always underestimated me, Malfoy." Each word dripped like honey, causing his smirk to twist. A cat and mouse stuck in tormenting circles. His gaze dropped to my lips, a heat igniting in the silence between us. - Where there is smoke: there's fire. The same smokey eyes that watched her too closely all these years. Lillian Petunia Potter, named after her mother, had to fly under the radar and hide in the shadows while her infamous twin brother basked in the hero limelight. She played too close with fire and got herself burned one too many times. Will Malfoy cause her life to go up in flames? Will she freely jump into them if it means risking it all? *** This fan fiction will be loosely following the plot. For the sake of everyone, the plot spans over a couple of year. The first few chapters of the story is story building and to help add slow burn .The majority of the story they will be consenting 17+ year olds. Warning: contains mature scenes, language, violence, smut, etc. ***I do not own any of these characters, all rights go to JK Rowling and her publishing company. I do not own Harry Potter or any of the Harry Potter characters/plot. Simply a Malfoy girl.

It's been one year since Hermione had lost Ron. She's growing tired of friends and family treating her as if she could break at any second. All she wants to do is be there for her daughter, Rose. As life would have it, she gains a new friend, and maybe even a second chance at love. Draco has been a single parent for a while. He wants to be the best dad that he can be to Scorpius. His life has become even more complicated when he tries to help his new friend, his former boss, Hermione Jean Granger-Weasley. ~excerpt: How could Ginny do this to her? To her! They were supposed to be best friends, sisters even. A hand wrapped around her wrist. "Go away Ginny." She bit the words out. A low chuckle rumbled behind her. "Too bad I'm not the Potter." Why did he have to follow after her! "Go away, Malfoy." The hand dropped away from her wrist. "So, it's Malfoy again." The pain in his words brought Hermione to a halt. "Why did you follow after me?" She whispered without turning around. Draco chuckled and she could imagine him running his hand through his hair. "It's quite obvious why Ginny did this." Hermione turned around to look at him, stunned that he had called Ginny by her name. He brought his eyes to meet hers and laughed. "Apparently, not that obvious." He continued when she remained quiet. "She's playing matchmaker." Ginny was doing what! Hermione was going to have to have a long chat with her friend. "I'll tell her to stop." She said tersely. "Why?" Did he really just ask her why? He should be the one to know why, Hermione had told him the reason why they would never be together. Then she remembered his words from that day, he had told her that she was worth the wait. . . . . . . . Characters belong to J.K Rowling.
