Despite the fact that half of her blood is Filipino, Verie Vanderbuilt still finds her roots unknown to her. After a massive disaster happening to her family, she finally gets to see, live, and know the life her mom humbly grew up in. Moving to a new county means she gets to move into a new University, where unfamiliar faces comes with surprising qualities, a little too surprising for Verie, especially when someone like Kile Laude can actually top her atrocious personality and competitive thinking.
