A stranger who looked at me as if I were something unreal. His words, strange and heavy, brushed against my ears, but his eyes-spoke a language I almost understood. When his hand reached for me, even for a second, my heart betrayed me, beating to a rhythm that didn't feel like mine. I should've run. I should've questioned everything. But in that moment, between fear and wonder, I knew one thing- Somewhere between the ocean and the stars, fate had found me.
