Jackie Taylor moves out with her parents to Hawkins, Indiana, the disappearance of her old school's soccer team has made national news, everyone knows who she is.
Eddie Munson starts his second run at senior year, army crawling his way to the finish line.
The two coincidentally cross paths, this kickstarts an unlikely friendship between the infamous Jackie Taylor and the town freak.

Hello, some things to keep in mind before reading. This chapter (and pretty much the rest of the story) includes implications of an eating disorder and full on mentions of it in the future. Just a warning for anyone who may have an issue with that topic.
This story began as a fun thought experiment with characters from two shows that have absolutely no relation to each other. Mostly because they are both dead in canon and deserved better, plus opposites attract and all that. Then it became much more elaborated and turned into whatever this is. I took the liberty to move the timeline of Yellowjackets from 1996 to 1986 so it fits with the Stranger Things narrative.

A Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson fanfiction. This will contain difficult topics so please read at your own risk. I hope you enjoy this story just as much as I enjoyed writing it. Book 1. *First couple chapters of Book 2 out now.* Welcome to Hawkins. Your life changes when Robin, your only friend, helps get you out of a bad situation. She and Steve quickly become your best friends after you move in with your cousin, Dustin. The long haired, ever himself, fellow student and good friend of Dustin, catches your eye. Navigating life isn't as easy as you'd hope but your friends and the so called 'freak' you've fallen for help. Trigger warnings for abuse/child abuse. Drug & alcohol use. Strong language. Sex/sexual acts. Self-harm/talk of suicide. Assault. There are not warnings at the beginnings of chapters. Some themes are rather dark and may be triggering - hence the warnings here. POV story, Y/N format. Slow burn, kinda. Heavy relationship focus leading up to the events in season 4. Not everything will fit with the show but it's a fiction anyway so *shrug* All Stranger Things characters obviously belong to the incredible Duffer Brothers.
