When Evie Thraine bursts into her home after a normal day at school she doesn't expect the house to be completely empty, or the fact that, after a week of searching, her family is proven missing. And she is expected to sit back and wait for them to appear again. All of this occurs while she is thrown into an Orphanage, gets lost in the local forest, hears voices in her head, meets two strange (but admittedly good looking) guys who both utterly confuse her, and is pushed around by the boy she has to SHARE a dorm with.
