Do you ever have this eerie feeling you get whenever you're in peach's castle?
Like without the bumpy upbeat soundtrack, the castle just feels strange at the most. Countless people have always theorized about the creepy feeling they get from sm64. As if the game cartridge is personalized; so on and so forth.
But what if that wasn't the case? , What if there's more behind the fantasy-like masquerade that the castle presents itself in. What if this nostalgic locale for nintendo fans galore was hiding something this whole time, right under our noses?
That's exactly what our loveably retarded plumber is going to find out in this horror novella.

I've noticed that nobody wants to do anything with the horror genre when it comes to smg4 fanfics. Its mostly fluff and romance.
So our plan is to switch it up with the release of this fic.

She was invited to a big anniversary that was coming in a few days! She was also given two boat tickets, one for her and another for a friend tag along. She ended up bringing Mario along for the adventure! Although, she wasn't so cheery on bringing him however. Once they got to Port Aurora, they soon found out that something strange is happening. There were rumor's about a secret mafia gang, trying to take over Port Aurora! And who ever is running this new operation had even put the blame on Mario for it! Will they ever find out whose really behind this? They only have a few days till the celebration begins... This Story contains vulgar language, and sensitive subjects. A diamond hidden within the gray line
Imagine a alternate world where the mario universe has a modern feel to it, and is full of action. Full of secrets of the past and bizarre moments along with horrifying moments as well. Now imagine all of this happening after the events of bowser's inside story but with a twist you'll never imagine was possible that involves the kind of horror you could never comprehend which is also part of an ancient history that was mostly buried and forgotten. This story contains swearing, blood and dark moments as well as light hearted moments, and a couple of shippings. One of them being not at all what you expect!

There may be some lore inaccuracies because I do not follow up on all streams closely. ✏︎✏︎✏︎ In the distant future of the Dream SMP, in a time where people have forgotten the tears and agony of the past, Faetom Aynit uncovers what appears to be a lie compared to everything that he has ever known. A lie masked by a crown. Once he caught onto the mystery, he couldn't let go. As if he was dragged down by quicksand that clutched onto his very consciousness, or rather than quicksand... vines. On the journey he meets Reverie Epiales, Silaus Blade and the mysterious Lethe. All of whom were pulled together into the unending spiral of a dark mystery. With nothing left to lose but everything that could be gained, will Faetom uncover the puppeteer or will he become the marionette? ✏︎✏︎✏︎ Note to all the readers who are not fans of the DSMP. This novel still stays true to the Fantasy genre and will still have a plotline of it's own based off of events of the SMP. Note that this story takes place in a time and era after the DSMP and with characters that are inspired off of the DSMP lore. Except Four, of course. SMG4 had originally planned to stay with Mario, but at the last minute he backed out of the offer, not wanting to impose on Luigi. Back to square one, it seemed... until his old rival decided to help him out, just this once. For some weird reason.
