Daf Carter is on track to become a legend; he's been a renowned Town Sheriff for four years, and never once failed to do his job. So when a nobody deckhand from a nobody ship sneaks into his town, breaks into his jail, and leaves without a broken bone, he's left with a damaged reputation to mend.
But tracking down the up-and-coming pirate may be harder than he expected, especially when said pirate has a habit of achieving the impossible. And the longer the chase goes on, the more he finds himself intrigued by the adversary he set out to destroy.
