"𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗽𝘀."
─ After millenniums of existence on this planet earth, the greek goddesses and gods have decided to go into hiding, so the fact that they are in fact real would not be revealed under the orders of Zeus. Then, the newest century of the bunch had hit. Which equaled to more problems for Lord Zeus. Just so the man had decided to hand-pick out four almighty goddesses to go in hiding as mortals to report back about the conditions the earth is in. Who did Zeus even pick out you may ask? He had picked out Athena, goddess of wisdom and war, Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, Nyx, the goddess of the night and may I add, one of the oldest living immortal goddesses alive and finally, Iris. The goddess of rainbows as well as the servant of the olympians, most of all Hera's. And that had happened 10 years ago that the four of them had been sent down to guard the planet. One day at the school of Hermiphia High came a new boy along with new mysteries that will cause the olympus to reveal themselves. The question is.. will the 12 olympians, along with the rest of the gods and goddesses confirm their existence? We shall find out..

[COMPLETED - ONLY MINORLY EDITED] ******************************************************** Greek myths - true or false? They should be false, and to 16-year-old Sophie Claire, it's never crossed her mind that they aren't. Until one day in History class when her teacher spends a day on Greek mythology and something strange starts happening - her friends and classmates begin to tell myths about certain Greek deities with frightening precision. And for some reason, she's began to feel a certain affinity for Persephone, the Greek maiden who was kidnapped by Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, and forced into a marriage with him. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. More than deadly - murderous.

“Look, whoever you are-” “Michael. And who are you?” he interrupted. Rude. “Michael. My name is Iris, Bonnie is indisposed at the moment, so my father sent me. I’m sure I can pass along any information so Bonnie can do whatever it is she does. How can I be of assistance?” I try to be polite as possible by putting on a sincere smile but my efforts are useless since his face is still marred with a nasty look. “Are you Hades' daughter?” He asked. “Something like that, yeah. What is the reason for your visit Michael? I know it's not to investigate the river of lost souls so what do you want?” This is how Bonnie talks right? Get down to the situation at hand. “There is a commotion in the heavens. As im sure you know, I am Zeus' right hand man so im pretty in the know of everything going on. Supposedly there's- a lost heir if you will. See, Zeus claims to have been pursued by a strange woman who looked similar to his significant other, and he believes that a child was spawned.” It all starts with an alliance. Iris is a girl in a sticky situation. She's also about to find out that she has been lied to her whole life and that everything she knows, even about herself, is a complete lie. She meets Michael, one of the most powerful men on Olympus without being a god himself. When he comes to the underworld asking questions he shouldn't be asking, Iris strikes a deal- a deal that changes her life forever. After her meet- her whole world is turned around and flipped upside down. Book by: Taylor Barlow AKA TaylorBarlow953 Original cover by: 4evadatrueme
