Ominis is trying to gain control over his family's enterprises in an attempt to change their ways from within. He is willing to put up with all sorts of demands and traditions to gain their trust until he meets MC after three years. She is still the same outspoken and fearless person who jumped into hell's fire for her friends.
The more time he spends with her, the least he is willing to put up with.  He wanted to be free and let himself go, but his goal was also important.
