This is a short story about the harsh reality for footballers of colour. Obviously, racism has been going on since anyone can remember, and over the recent years, only now has it began to be spoken about more. For some players, it can ruin their career and for some, it only makes them stronger. As a black person myself, I want to write a story about a black female footballer. I know. Something we don't see a lot of, but just by me doing this book it might help just that little bit. ---- Ameera Kerolin is a black British footballer who grew up in Croydon, South London to Jamaican parents. She's been in the Manchester United first team for three years now and as women's football is beginning to grow, so does her fame, but of course it has a downside right? -faceclaim: Lauren James-
