Deaf Bakugo AU Red string AU In the beginning of their 3rd year at UA, Bakugo finally looses his hearing. In a state of panic he pushes everyone away. Since this horrible accident happened all of a sudden, no one really knew how to deal with it or even help him. All except one. The only person who haf anxiously waited for this day. Eager to help his friend, he teaches his whole class Japanese sign language. After a couple months almost the whole class is fluent, Bakugo has gone back to school and got a cochlear implant so he can hear again but he doesn't really like it it. Out of the kindness of his heart, Todoroki agrees to do Bakugou's homework assignments for him so he can work on becoming a stronger hero. But Todoroki has a condition of his own. In exchange for doing his homework, Todoroki wants Bakugou to become more in touch with his affectionate side. That includes hand holding, hugging, cuddling, and everything in between. Deaf au Bakudeku
Deku was born deaf, but he been having surgery to his ears. He been told one of his ears is better then the other so he has to use a hearing aid so he be able to actually hear. He knows sign language, he could also write. Still speaking was hard. So he was also mute. Deku only knew few words. Kacchan doesn't know deku was deaf. (In this au I'm making it seem like they aren't childhood friends, but they seem their mother talk and drink coffee or tea together but deku was always far away from Kacchan.
